CILAM maintains a significant and growing number of archival materials related to Iberian and Latin American Music. Chief among them are archives of the composer Joaquín Nin-Culmell (1908-2004), the Romero family of guitarists, as well as the Ted McKown archive of rare flamenco recordings. In addition, UCR Special Collections possesses the only surviving autograph score of the original version of the opera María del Carmen (1898) by Enrique Granados (1867-1916).
